Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Monday discussed with the Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), Abdulwahab Al-Bader, relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, which was attended by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ibrahim Saif and Governor of Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) Ziad Fariz, Ensour thanked the Kuwaiti Fund for its consistent support to the Kingdom.
The premier expressed appreciation for the strong ties between Jordan and the Kuwait-based development finance institution, which is considered a major contributor to development efforts in the Kingdom.
Talks between the two officials touched on the $18 million loan guarantee provided by the Fund to support the Kingdom's efforts in hosting Syrian refugees.
Al-Bader stressed the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries, saying that supporting Jordan is crucial, especially in the light of the latest circumstances in the Middle East.
