The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has begun the distribution of Eid clothing and Zakat al-Fitr to underprivileged families in a number of areas in Tunisia.
Sultan Obaid Al Ketbi, UAE Consul-General in Tunis, provided Zakat al-Fitr Sukuk worth 10,900 Tunisian Dinar to the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity to be allocated as financial aid to 109 beneficiaries in Tunisia.
The project is in line with the ERC's Ramadan Programme implemented in more than 55 countries across the world to provide assistance to the needy families, particularly in Ramadan.
