Ferryboats to sail in New Suez Canal in February

Chief of Staff of the Army's Engineering Authority Maj.-Gen. Kamel al Wazir said on Thursday that ferryboats would have access to the new Suez Canal by the end of February.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, the top military official said a new waterway linking the two canals would be reinforced to allow boats cross from east to west of the new canal.
The new link, located 1.5 km away from ferry no. 6 course, will help cutting down the time taken in the new drive, he added.
