
The fifth Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) delegation to Gaza distributed 4,700 aid baskets to Palestinians who fled their homes and took refuge at UNRWA schools and to those affected in Khuza'a area which suffered severe damage from the recent events in Gaza.
The delegation gave out these assistance after it surveyed the stricken areas in Khuza'a and Khan Yunis where they were briefed on the scale and impact of the devastation of buildings and the conditions of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who fled to the UNRWA schools after their homes were destroyed.
Emad Abu Laban, Head of the ERC in Gaza, said that the delegation had distributed 1,000 food baskets, 2,000 medical kits and 1,000 gallons of water while those affected in Khuza'a received 700 food baskets.
