
International Cooperation Minister Naglaa el Ahwany said on Sunday that the volume of French investments in Egypt reached $6.7 billions.
In statements, she added that the trade exchange between Egypt and France attained $3.1 billions in 2013.
El-Ahwany hailed the role played by French companies working in Egypt to finance key development projects according to the Egyptian economic reform plan.
The Egyptian minister made such remarks during her meeting with French Ambassador in Cairo Andre Baran as they signed a financial cooperation's protocol at a cost of more than 7 millions euros to fund the replacement of navigation systems of Taba airport for the ministry of civil aviation.
