
The 13th meeting of heads of GCC audit and accounting bureaus, begun here yesterday, concluded today (Wednesday) with a number of recommendations on streamlining the work of these bureaus, a press statement said.
The participants in the meeting adopted the plan for next year's training program for GCC audit bureaus' employees, including programs proposed by the Saudi, Bahraini, and Qatari bureaus, said the statement issued today by the Kuwait Audit Bureau.
The conferees also agreed on establishing a data bank for training programs which all the audit bureaus can tap into.
They moreover took into consideration a Kuwaiti proposal on joint monitoring of environmental issues that the audit bureaus are concerned with.
