
The Special Envoy of the GCC Secretary General to Yemen Dr. Saleh Al-Qunaieer here on Wednesday reaffirmed that the GCC would provide a constant support to Yemen to overcome its challenges and maintain its unity and stability.
Al-Qunaieer made this statement at a meeting with Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi in which they reviewed relations between the GCC and Sanaa and the political, economic and security challenges.
They also discussed implementing the Peace and National Partnership Agreement based on the outcomes of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference.
During the meeting, President Hadi praised the GCC's support to Yemen in the process of political transition through the Gulf initiative and its implementation, Yemen's news agency (SABA) reported.
Yemen looks forward to receiving constant support to overcome challenges so that it could restore its security and stability which will have a positive impact on the security and stability of the GCC countries, President Hadi was quoted by SABA as saying.
