
Sudan would host on Wednesday the 42nd session of the General Conference of the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (GUCCIAAC).
The conference would be accompanied by holding a two-day forum on "investment prospects in food security and mineral wealth in the Arab countries" which is organized by the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation.
In a statement, Secretary General of the Sudanese federation Bakri Yousuf said that the conference would reinforce the federation's efforts aiming to attract Arab investments to Sudan and brief the investors and the businessmen of Arab chambers and the joint Arab-European Trade Chambers on the efforts made by Sudan to improve its investment climate and its promising investment potentials.
The conference would tackle a number of topics including; the needed reforms to improve the investment environment and food security, ways to find financial and banking mechanisms for supporting investment projects and food security as well as investments in mineral wealth.
