
Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour, has been announced as the leader of the U.A.E. delegation participating in the 41st session of the Arab Labour Conference, which will be held in Cairo from September 14th.
The delegation includes the participation of Mohammed bin Nakhaira Al-Dhaheri, U.A.E. Ambassador to Egypt, Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Humaid Rashid bin Deemas Al Suwaidi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Labour Affairs, and other representatives from the Ministry of Labour and the National HR Development and Employment Authority.
The conference will examine important reports, including one published by the Director-General of the Arab Labour Office on Arab cooperation and prospects for employment, in addition to a technical report on using training and rehabilitation to improve human development and enhance competitiveness.
Participants in the meeting will also review and discuss a technical report entitled, "Labour Inspections, Modern Trends and Practices to Enhance Labour Relations and Law Enforcement", as well as a report from the Second Arab Forum for Development and Employment entitled, "Towards Social Protection and Sustainable Development." Contributors will deliberate ways of developing mechanisms within the Arab Labour Organisation, review the organisation's ability to meet its obligations, and discuss the challenges facing the Arab labour market.
