
The Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA)'s Chairman cum Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC)'s President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery met International Fertilizer Industry Associations Federation's Director-General Charlotte Hebebrand on the side-lines of the 21st Annual Forum of the Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA) in Hurghada, Egypt.
During the meeting, Dr. Jawahery spoke about the high level of co-operation the AFA receives from the Federation and said the two bodies shared a close and professional relationship. The two sides discussed various issues related to sustainable development and use of fertilizers and production processes, in addition to issues related to sustainability, according to GPIC's website: www.gpic.com.
Ms. Haberand said she was willing to further expand co-operation between the two sides on the one hand and Arab companies on the other and confirmed that her presence at this important event would contribute to closer cooperation between the two unions and the member companies. She thanked Dr. Jawahery and the other AFA members for their continuous endeavour to cooperate with the Federation and promote closer ties between the two bodies.
More than 600 representatives of Arab fertilizer companies and global delegates from 40 countries attended the AFA's Annual Forum, GPIC reported.
