Ibrahim Rashid, Director of the Human Appeal International Office in the West Bank, said that the humanitarian campaign was necessary and part of it has been carried out during the Holy Month of Ramadan through the provision of snack meals for stranded fasting people at Israeli checking points in their way to the Palestinian cities and villages.
He added that HAI has continued the campaign after Ramadan and has witnessed a huge turn out from beneficiaries. Rashid added that Checking Points Iftar Project is part of the HAI's annual Ramadan campaign of "Seeds of Goodness" that targets one million Palestinian underprivileged families and will continue till Eid al-Adha at a total cost of AED 15 millions and targets one million Palestinian beneficiaries.
