
The economic legislation committee, emanated from the legislative reform panel, will hold a hearing session Wednesday on the unified investment law, which the government is currently considering, in order to get acquainted with viewpoints' of businessmen and investors in this respect, said Transitional Justice Minister Ibrahim el Heneidi.
In statements to reporters Sunday, Heneidi said that the economic legislation committee met yesterday with a number of investors as part of a comprehensive study on the final form of the law.
The bill is being discussed with several bodies, including ministries of finance and investment, he added.
The law focuses on identifying one authority to be responsible for investment in Egypt, which is expected to be GAFI.
