The Red Sea Ports Authority reopened on Sunday Hurghada port after weather improved in the coastal city.
The port was closed for a few hours on Saturday due to bad weather.
On the other hand, Safaga port reamined closed for the second straight day over bad weather that hit the Red Sea town, Red Sea Ports Authority Spokesman Abdel Rahim Mostafa said in a statement.
"The closure is a precautionary measure, the port will be reopened once the weather improves," the spokesman said.
Both Hurghada and Safaga ports were closed on Saturday over bad weather. The decision was made to guarantee the safety of passengers and ships, the Ports Authority said yesterday.
