The International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) has sent humanitarian aid, including medical and food stuff, at a total cost of KD 400,000 to the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, unveiled a senior official at the Kuwait-based charity.
The IICO will continue donation-raising and aid sending for the traumatized people in the Palestinian Strip, General Manager of the IICO Dr. Othman Al-Haji, said in a press statement Sunday.
He added that the IICO team played an honorable role in the holy month of Ramadan to deliver aid to residents in the Strip which has been subject to Israeli aggression since July 8.
Israeli offensive in the Strip has left so far over 1,750 Palestinians dead and more than 10,000 injured.
