
The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of Muslim World League spent an amount of SR (57,580,590) during the years 1434 AH and 1435 AH to assist people affected by natural disasters, civil wars, conflicts, and sectarian and ethnic strifes in (20) countries in the continents of Asia and Africa.
The Organization's Secretary General Ihsan bin Saleh Tayyib pointed out that the number of beneficiaries of this aid reached (1,151,612) people from poor families, widows, divorcees, orphans, refugees, displaced persons and other groups, noting that the assistance included large quantities of food, clothing, medicines, tents and money.
