
The Secretary General of the Gum Arabic Council, Dr. Abdul-Majid Abdul-Gadir, announced that the International Specialized Gum Arabic Conference and the accompanying exhibition will be held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement to SUNA Sunday, Dr. Abdul-Gadir said that the step taken complies with the reality that the Gulf states have become a center of international trade, pointing to the recent meeting recently between the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Gum Arabic Council which discussed details of the project that was presented by JICA to the Sudanese Ministry of Trade regarding promotion of the gum arabic commodity in the Middle East states.
