
Minister of Investment Dalia Khourshed discussed Wednesday with governor of El Wady El Gedid (New Valley) Mahmoud Ashmawi investment chances in the governorate, in the presence of executive president of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Mohamed Khoudeir.
During the meeting, the minister stressed the importance of the investment potentials the governorate enjoys, including sunshine all year round and animal wealth projects.
For his part Ashmawi said there are 199 investment opportunities on 15,595 feddans at costs of EGP 55.8 billion which would provide 46,000 job opportunities, pointing out that such chances will be ready for serious investors in the near future.
Minister Khourshed promised the minister to discuss solar energy prospects with the minister of electricity.
The number of founded companies in the governorate reached 507 at total capital of EGP 1.6668 billion providing about 15,402 job opportunities.
