
The Algerian week devoted to investment and business “Doing Business in Algeria” which is being held in Chicago (USA), dedicated its opening session to the presentation of investment and partnership opportunities in Algeria.
CEOs of Algerian public and private companies as well as representatives of public institutions and organisms in charge of supporting investment led this session in the presence of, notably the Minister of Industry and Mining, Abdesselam Bouchouareb, in addition to about 80 American economic operators.
The prospects of Algerian-American cooperation in the sectors of Building, Public Works and Hydraulics, mining, food-processing and pharmaceutical industry marked the first session of the meeting, which will be later devoted to bilateral meetings to identify business opportunities between economic operators of both countries.
The National director of the National Development and Investment Agency (ANDI), Abdelkrim Mansouri presented, on this occasion, the main dispositions, advantages and incentives scheduled by the Algerian regulations governing foreign investment.
