Board chairman of South Sinai Investors Association and Marsa Alam Investors Association Atef Abdel Latif said that the tourism in Egypt is expected to get back to normal within 6 months.
In press statements Tuesday, Abdel Latif called for boosting cooperation with Ukraine to attract Ukrainian tourists to Egypt after the decrease of the Russian tourism rate following the Russian plane crash in Sinai.
Meanwhile, Abdel Latif reiterated the importance of Italian tourism, urging the Italian media outlets and travel agents to visit Egypt.
He called on the Ministry of International Cooperation to work on allocating part of the soft loans and grants presented to Egypt to developing Sinai via allocating EGP 2 billion to establish a fund for supporting tourism.
