Iraq, UK officials discuss economic ties

Iraqi Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari on Thursday discussed with U.K. Ambassador to Iraq Frank Becker relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing commercial and economic ties.
The two officials exchanged views on means of U.K. support for Iraq under the current security and economic conditions, the Iraqi Ministry of Finance said in a statement. They also discussed the outcome of the recent conference on investment and privatization between Iraq's National Investment Commission on one side and Iraqi and British businessmen on the other.
