
The Israeli authorities approved of entry of construction materials to the Gaza Strip for building hundreds of houses that were destroyed by the latest war on the enclave, one year ago.
In press statements on Tuesday, Minister of Public Works and Housing Mofeed al Hasina said that 663 housing units will be rebuilt by the construction materials allowed to enter the strip.
He further hailed the resistance of the owners of the damaged houses.
Israel waged a fifty-one-day war on Gaza Strip starting July 7, 2014 leaving 2,200 Palestinians dead and 11,000 others injured.
Thousands of houses were also destroyed and its residents were displaced.
