Jordan's Prime Minister Abdullah Nsour has said his country and Egypt have been exerting strenuous efforts to improve the investment and business environment.
Addressing a regional conference on updating bankruptcy laws in Jordan and Egypt, the premier added that such a move would have a great impact on the economy of the two Arab states.
"Economic reform serves as a gate of comprehensive reform to achieve the objectives of the peoples and improve their living standards," Nsour said in a speech read out on his behalf by Middle East Initiative on reforming bankruptcy systems Dr. Wassim Harb.
The premier also praised efforts exerted by the civil society organizations in Jordan and Egypt to help the two governments reform the national economy.
