
The Egyptian Agricultural Research Center signed on Thursday a memorandum of understanding with Jordan Agricultural Research Center to encourage agricultural, technical and scientific cooperation.
The memo calls for exerting joint efforts to organize scientific and educational activities in several fields.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian-Egyptian Agricultural Technical Committee reviewed during its meeting in Amman on Thursday, the outcome and recommendations of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee, which met in Cairo in August, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
The meeting was co-chaired by Agriculture Ministry Secretary General Radi Tarawneh and Undersecretary of the Egyptian Agricultural Research Center Alaa Azouz.
The two sides agreed to activate meetings of the Jordanian-Egyptian Agricultural Committee and exert further efforts to organize various activities in the agricultural field, and exchange experts and data as well as visits.
