His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah, the Regent, on Wednesday oversaw the dispatch of an aid convoy laden with food and medical supplies to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to alleviate their suffering.
His Highness joined a number of volunteers from the Haqqiq Initiative, INJAZA and the We Are All Jordan Commission, in preparing the aid material as part of his initiative to provide assistance to Gazans, beef up support to Jordan field hospital in Gaza and inspect injured Palestinians receiving treatment at Al Hussein Medical Center.
The Crown Prince said that preparing the parcels was part of the voluntary work carried out by Jordanian youths who are aware of their role and responsibilities towards their country and their brethren.
The convoy was sent by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces and a number of public and private sector institutions.
