The Jordan Investors Association (JIA) and the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum signed a cooperation agreement on Sunday to exchange expertise among their members and peers in other companies and associations.
JIA president Naeem al Khatib said in a statement that the two organizations had a desire for cooperation and to safeguard their joint interests, which led to signing the agreement, the basic intent being to increase trade and exchange expertise with various entities.
The deal, he said, allows Jordanian and Palestinian businessmen to open joint representation offices and set up a database on their website to promote available investment opportunities and provide access to business activities.
Khatib said the two sides had agreed to exchange commercial data, investment legislation and relevant regulations issued by official authorities, NGOs and other entities, stressing that such data would encourage businessmen to invest and find an environment to conduct business in Jordan and in other Arab countries.
