
Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, visited on Thursday the career exhibition within the National Employment Campaign, which was launched early September.
Ensour was briefed about the companies' representatives on recruitment mechanism within the 3d stage.
He also praised the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Labour in providing vacancies through recruitment campaigns, he calls for overviewing the documented numbers of employees through the 1st and 2nd campaigns.
During the tour presented by ministry of labor under-secretary Hamadah Abu Nijmeh, Ensour was also briefed about the number of recruitments through the 1st and 2nd campaigns, which reached 52,799 workers, assuring that the 3d stage has recruited since July about 4,399 workers.
During Abu Nijmeh's presentation, Ensour congratulated the of establishing the five operating units in the ministries of Public Works and Housing, Health, Communications and Information Technology, Industry and Trade, Tourism and Antiquities, which aim to increase employment and training rates, according to each sector, and activate the ministries' role in tackling sectoral unemployment.
The Prime Minister, during his visit to the exhibition, patronized the Ministry of Labor signing of three employment and training agreements with the Nurses and Midwives Council, Pharmacists Association, the Association of Medical Laboratories of Jordan, the Private Hospitals Association and Jordan Hospital Association. The agreements aim to employ 500 new graduates in nursing, pharmacy and laboratories.
