
A delegation from Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) arrived here Wednesday on a six-day visit to Lebanon.
During their stay, KFAED officials are to sign a loan deal for a slaughterhouse project in Tripoli, provide a donation to support Lebanese communities hosting Syrian refugees, and finance a number of projects in southern Beirut, including an emergency center in Ghobeiry, the historical Beaufort Castle in Nabatieh and the project of Litani River in Beqaa Valley.
The Kuwaiti delegation is also to meet with Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Tammam Salam during the visit.
Upon arriving, the delegation, headed by Director General Abdulwahab Al-Bader, and including regional manager for the Arab Countries Marwan Al-Ghanim, was received by at the airport by Third Secretary in Kuwait Embassy Mohammad Al-Wogayan, representative of KFAED resident in Lebanon Nawaf Al-Dabous, and Chairman of Lebanon's Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) Nabil Al-Jesr
