
The King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) has signed a SR 168 million worth "Operation, Maintenance, Complete Testing" Contract for the King Fahd Causeway and associated facilities thereof.
The contract was signed by the KFC director Badr bin Abdullah Al-Otaishan on behalf of the King Fahd Causeway Authority and Abdullah Khalid Al-Baatil on behalf of the Kuwait-based contractor "Kuwaiti Manager Company" (KMC) owned by the Kuwaiti Finance House (KFH).
The contract comprises operation, maintenance and full testing of the causeway with a length of 26 kilometres from the toll gates in the Saudi side to the toll gates in the Bahraini side and facilities on the border island and in governmental procedure areas.
