Volunteers of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) handed out here on Saturday in-kind assistance to Syrian families living in different areas in Jordan.
In a statement to KUNA, Jassem Qamber, the KRCS delegation's head, said the aid was distributed to displaced Syrian families in northern areas and in the capital, adding the aid is part of the campaigns carried out by the KRCS since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis.
He added that the aid included beds, blankets and clothes which are badly needed for refugees who are suffering from harsh weather conditions the region is witnessing.
He stressed the significance of the Kuwaiti aid aiming at alleviating the sufferings of Syrian refugees and helping Jordan and all host countries face repercussions of the crisis.
Qamber also lauded Kuwait's humanitarian role in supporting brothers and friends all over the world.
