
Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) announced on Saturday its collaboration with the Kuwait Public Awqaf Foundation in the distribution of food coupons to some 2,000 needy families inside Kuwait.
KRCS Chairman Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today that stemming from the KRCS' belief in the alleviation of hardship of some families with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the society carried out this initiative to help them cope with their burdens.
He added that this initiative also aims at bringnig joy and delight to the hearts of the needy people during the holy month of Ramadan.
He said that those beneficiaries can use these coupons at the designated co-operative societies
