KRCS hands out second batch of relief aid in Gaza

The second consignment of relief aid from the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has been distributed among Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip which has been under a nonstop Israeli aggression.
The Kuwaiti humanitarian aid was handed out in Nuseirat and Jbalia areas which included foodstuffs, medical supplies and blanketsall, KRCS board member Saad Al-Nahedh said in a statement.
A Palestinian charity and its volunteers have exerted fervent efforts in order to deliver Kuwaiti relief aid to Gazans, including food, medicine and blankets, Al-Nahedh added.
Donations from Kuwaiti citizens and residents for the people of Gaza have hit more than one million US dollars, he added, noting that the fund-raising campaign in Kuwait will continue nonstop for the coming period.
The Kuwaiti humanitarian aid is meant to alleviate the woes and sufferings of the Palestinian people as directed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, he pointed out.
