Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Development and Planning Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh commended here on Sunday the close cooperation between Kuwait and Bahrain at different levels, notably the social one.
Upon her arrival here on Sunday, Minister Al-Sabeeh told KUNA that her visit to Manama aims to exchange expertise and get acquainted with the Bahraini experiment in caring for elderly people in collaboration with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
She added that she will visit a center for elderly people to know its services provided to them in collaboration with the NGOs, especially as Bahrain has a leading experiment in this regard.
She noted that Kuwait supports the idea of cooperation with NGOs in the field of caring for elderly people.
The minister pointed out she will attend an international conference on businesswomen, underlining its significance as it brings together businesswomen from across the globe to discuss issues of mutual interest.
