Lebanon's ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdusattar Isa today highlighted the participation of his country in Riyadh Int'l Expo 2014, which kicked here off last night.
In a press statement Isa said to mark the opening of the fair by minister of commerce and industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabee'a at Riyadh International Center for Conferences and Exhibitions that the Lebanese exhibitors would like to show the development witnessed by Lebanon in the touristy, economic and commercial fields and upgrade the level of economic exchanges between Lebanon and other participating countries in the event.
The ambassador lauded the distinguished Saudi Lebanese relations, expressing hope that the exhibition would contribute to boosting the size of trade exchanges between the two parties, citing that the economic exchange between the two countries reached $783 million in 2012 and noting that the size of Saudi investments in Lebanon amounted toSR16 billion, making it among the biggest investors in Lebanon.
The event, which will last until 25 June, was attended by 16 GCC, Arab and foreign countries.
