
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry underlined that Spain wants to participate in supporting the Egyptian economy, adding that the European country will take part in the economic conference to be held in March.
The minister's remarks came after holding discussions with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Margallo.
Shoukry said that the Spanish minister met on Saturday with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi where they probed means of boosting bilateral relations and coordination in regional issues such as conditions in Libya.
The Egyptian top diplomat underlined the importance of coordination between the Egyptian and Spanish missions in the United Nations especially that Spain will take over a non-permanent seat in the Security Council in January.
