
The State Minister at the Ministry of Finance and national Economy Magdi Hassan Yassin has affirmed importance of the technical support being extended by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) to Sudan in the field of capacity building on peace.
This came during a meeting he held Tuesday with UNECA Chairman Dr. Adam Al-Hireika. The minister gave directives to the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Finance to prepare a memo on the training requirements and to be sent to UNECA.
Dr. Al-Hireika, meanwhile, briefed Yassin on the technical support opportunities which his organization provides, urging preparation of memorandum of understanding in the fields of development planning and other economic domains to be sent officially and urgently to the commission.
