
The economic panel under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting Monday to discuss a number of important files, topped by the economic conditions, means to fund the Suez Canal project along with fuel needs.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mahlab affirmed that the government works on implementing directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the various economic spheres.
Mahlab, meanwhile, said that there is a priority to pay the dues owed to the Petroleum Ministry.
Mahlab also said that the petroleum minister affirmed that an agreement is about to be finalized to ensure that the country's petroleum needs for a whole year are provided, starting from September.
