Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi invited his Egyptian counterpart Ibrahim Mahlab to take part in Milan Expo 2015, said Italian Ambassador to Egypt Maurizio Massari.
During a workshop organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce with Fiera Milano, the ambassador said the expo will be held on May 1 and will continue until October 31.
About 140 countries will take part in the exhibition, which will showcase all products related to food, agriculture goods and the latest technological developments in food, he added.
The ambassador also extended invitation to the governmental sector and the Egyptian businessmen to take part in the expo.
The expo is considered a good opportunity to lure investments not for Italy only but to all world countries, he added.
