
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Tuesday witnessed the signing of an initial agreement on the development of Maspiro neighborhood between residents, investors and owners on one side and the government on the other side.
The signing took place at the cabinet premises in the presence of Minister of Urban Development Laila Iskander, Cairo Governor Galal El Said, representatives of the residents and investors as well as some bodies concerned.
Iskandar sad the project comes as part of the state's plan to raise the standard of living of some marginalized categories of the society.
She said a well-experienced consultative office will be assigned to make an outline for the housing, investment and service sectors in the Maspiro neighborhood.
