
Egypt's International Economic Conference “Matrouh the Future of Investment” kicked off on Saturday under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Matrouh governor Alaa Abu Zeid attended the inauguration of the conference along with Ministers Ahmed Zaki Badr of Local Development, Ashraf Salman of Investment and Hisham Za'zou' of Tourism.
Businessmen from Egypt, Gulf and European states also attend the event.
Abu Zeid added that the governorate has many natural resources and industrial potentials that would attract Arab and foreign investments.
The conference is meant to underline the political leadership's plan to push forward the wheel of development and encourage investments, he said.
