
Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued an order Thursday to set development plans for an area of 1,000 feddans on the Gulf of Suez to establish new tourist, housing and entertainment projects.
The minister issued the order following a meeting with head of North Suez Gulf city Sameh Mohamed Younis to discuss infrastructure projects in Ras el Adabiya area on the Gulf of Suez.
According to Younis, the Ataqa Industrial Zone was temporarily linked to a Pumping Station with a capacity of 3,000 m3/h.
The completion of water and sanitation systems in the area is part of the infrastructure project to expand the industrial area, Younis said.
The estimated costs of the infrastructure project in the area are EGP55.7 million, Younis added.
