Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Khaled Hanafi said that he agreed with Transport Minister Galal el Saeed to use the empty lands on the sides of the railways and roads in all the governorates to establish commercial chains, logistic and trade centers and modern markets.
This aims at providing goods for the citizens at good prices, achieving investment revenues to the railway authority, providing thousands of job opportunities and modernizing internal trade.
Hanafi's remarks came during heading a meeting of the board of the internal trade development agency affiliated to the Ministry of Supply.
Hanafi said that these chains will provide 110,000 job opportunities within the framework of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to set up commercial chains and logistic centers in all governorates.
