
Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro patronised here today the two-day Conference entitled "Trade Facilitation" organised by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bahrain.
The conference was attended by Officials from Customs Affairs at the Ministry of Interior,
Representatives of specific international organisations, which are: World Trade Organization (WTO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), International Trade Centre (ITC) and a number of international trade advisers.
The conference aims to prepare the final evaluation of the executive position of the Convention on trade facilitation and procedures related to implementation, disseminate public awareness of the Convention's objectives and benefits in order to develop Bahrain's foreign trade and productive integration on bilateral, regional and global levels.
