
Minya Governor Tarek Nassr signed on Monday a cooperation protocol with the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC) and the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) to launch the establishment of an eco-friendly productive village in Minya.
The minister held on Monday a meeting to discuss the preparations concerning the implementation of the project.
The village is planned to be built on an area of 1,850 feddans in which it will host 25,000 people in 5,000 housing units and will provide 11,000 job opportunities.
The governor also announced the launch of establishment procedures via addressing the authorities concerned to accomplish their relevant tasks.
