
The Printing and Packaging Chamber at the Federation of Egyptian Industries is studying a project on establishing an industrial zone as part of the Suez Canal development axis.
In statements to MENA, Chamber chief Khaled Abdo said it officially addressed Chairman of General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Ahmed Darwish on its plans and would offer a presentation and a feasibility study on the industrial zone project on printing and packaging.
Revenues of the sector of printing and packaging were estimated at EGP 10 billion in 2015 in the shape of direct and indirect exports, Abdo said, adding that plans are aimed to achieve EGP 14 billion in the coming two years.
