New Suez Canal to transform Egypt to global trade center

The New Suez Canal will transform Egypt to a global trade center to serve the Arab region and the whole world, said Egypt's Ambassador in Tunisia Ayman Mashrafa.
The New Canal will contribute to luring more foreign investments to Egypt, the minister told MENA correspondent here on Thursday.
The project will contribute to creating about one million jobs, he added.
The New Canal will increase the number of ships passing through the canal, he further said.
Egypt will massively increase the capacity of the existing canal and offer an important chance to boost the national economy.
