The Director General of Jerusalem's Awqaf Department and Al-Aqsa Mosque affairs, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Tamimi praised the efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian Government which resulted in the removal of the wooden bridge at the Al-Magarebh hill in occupied Jerusalem.
In a letter to the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Hayel Dawood, Al Tamimi called for further pressure on the Israeli government, mainly regarding the closure of Bab Al-Rahma gate by the Israeli inspector general without legal justification for being a part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He also called for exerting pressure to stop obstructing the implementation of projects in the Al Aqsa Mosque.
