
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Friday inspected a housing project of slum residents in the 6th of October City.
Mahlab was accompanied by Cairo governor Galal Moustafa and Minister of Urban Development Laila Iskandar.
Mahlab met with a number of residents who were recently moved from dangerous areas in Duwaiqa to the 6th of October City.
The premier listened to their problems and complaints, calling for providing health units and pharmacies to offer health services to the residents.
Mahlab pledged to resolve the residents’ problems soon and overcome all obstacles to provide a safe and stable life.
Mahlab also witnessed the operation of new lines of public buses, which will help facilitate the movement of the residents.
Mahlab called for intensifying the security presence to counter outlaws and criminals.
