
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting on Monday with the Cabinet's economic committee to discuss preparations for holding Egypt's economic summit slated for February in Sharm el-Sheikh city.
The meeting was attended by the Central Bank of Egypt governor and ministers of trade and industry, planning, petroleum, finance, supply and internal trade and international cooperation.
The planned conference is scheduled to spotlight on the government's current and future political, economic and social vision.
A huge number of projects will be announced for local and international investors during the conference.
The prime minister stressed that there are important factors which will contribute to the success of the conference; namely finalizing the legislative reforms and solving the investors' problems.
