
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inaugurated a number of projects during his tour in Damietta.
Mahlab was accompanied by Minister of Local Development Adel Labib, Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Youth and Sport Khaled Abdel Aziz and Minister of Trade and Industry Monir Fakhry Abdel Nour.
Mahlab inaugurated health and youth projects and laid the foundation stone of an industrial city.
Eye hospital and diabetes hospital in Damietta were inaugurated with a total cost of EGP 6.6 million pounds.
Mahlab said that the government finished 240,000 housing units including 70,000 units that were handed over, adding that 15,000 units will be handed over monthly.
In press statements, Mahlab said that no violations will be left on the River Nile banks, adding that there is a revolution in developing the education especially the technical education.
Mahlab said that the government is adding 13,600 megawatts to the main electricity grid to increase its efficiency.
