Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab Friday thanked Egyptian, Arab and foreign reporters attending the Egyptian Economic Development Conference (EEDC) to cover the event.
"I appreciate your participation and presence," Mahlab said in a press conference organized by the State Information Service.
"Your job is to convey a civilized image of the conference to the world."
Mahlab said his government has exerted utmost efforts to provide services to media men, businessmen and participants in the conference.
But he still found it normal to have some flaws at such a big gathering, assuring those will be quickly tackled.
Mahlab told reporters that Cabinet spokesman Hossam el Qawish will also be the spokesman for the conference.
Qawish will hold regular press conferences to update reporters about EEDC developments, Mahlab added.
